On October 28, the Volunteers Alliance of SSCLF- Huaixun Plastic Arts Public Welfare Fund was launched at Soong’s Family Old House – the workplace of Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Foundation. These volunteers came from doctors in clinical medicine, plastic surgery and other departments in major hospitals across the country. When they were engaged in their work, they had treated children with congenital or burn deformities, many of whom were unable to afford medical expenses due to family economic difficulties. As volunteers of the Huaixun Plastic Arts Fund, they will build a public welfare platform for the needy children, so that more needy children with deformed poverty can receive financial aid.
