On April 4, 2020, Ching Ming Festival, due to the need for COVID-19 prevention and control, Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Foundation suspended the collective on-site sacrifice sweeping method; instead they turned to the "cloud sacrifice sweeping", and entrusted the Soong Ching Ling Mausoleum Management Office to perform the sacrifice sweeping, thereby commemorating Soong Ching Ling, Honorary President of the People's Republic of China.
