In recent days, during the special period of COVID-19 prevention and control in Shanghai, Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Foundation has made concerted efforts with its donors, friends and peer charitable organizations to take proactive actions in the fight against the Covid-19 outbreak.

At 2 pm on March 29, 8K Pixel Luna Co., Ltd., in coordination with Tianjin Foresight Asset Management Co., Ltd., donated ￥200,000 worth of ready-to-heat-and-eat food packs to Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Foundation in support of Shanghai’s anti-COVID efforts. To ensure a timely delivery, Flashdiet Beijing Biotechnology Co., Ltd. lost no time in organizing the dispatch and transportation of these supplies. Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Foundation received the donated supplies at 10 am on March 30th and distributed them immediately to the pandemic front-line volunteers and medical staffs in Putuo District, Songjiang District, Qingpu District, etc. On the same day, Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Foundation also delivered the COVID-19 antigen detection test kits donated by Shandong Kanghua Biomedical Technology Co., Ltd. to front-line female reporters, the elderlies in nursing homes as well as students.

Via its Motherly Love Special Fund, House Foods Special Fund as well as its Special Fund for Mother and Infant Safety, Shanghai Soong Ching Ling Foundation has also coordinated earlier this month the donations of bottled water and instant noodles to East China Normal University, Yangpu District’s Women's Federation, Ruijin Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University’s Medical School, in addition to part of the public security officers and policemen of Shanghai, volunteer driver teams for anti-pandemic supplies delivery, anti-pandemic security staffs, and some foreign teachers.
